Our Army at War v1 #190 presents Sgt. Rock's 6 Battle Stars, 1968 - War heroes suddenly burst into view on the cover of this 80 page giant. I have to admit Joe Kubert's cover is a fun solution to showcasing all the featured characters inside. Kubert's contents page has less visual impact (see interior page below), but is far more informative. This was used again in Sgt. Rock Special #4. Also included are three stories by the artist, first published in Our Army at War #97, All-American Men of War #38 and Our Fighting Forces #51. Other artists in this silver age issue include Russ Heath. This is 125 of 236 Our Army at War issues by Kubert.
