All American Men of War v2 #38 - Joe Kubert art

All American Men of War v2 #38
All American Men of War v2 #38, 1956 - A soldier has an odd habit of avoiding getting wet, an impossible feat while fighting in WWII's Pacific theater. Only four pages, Joe Kubert's linework is a tad thicker than usual, losing some nuance. He does, however, open the story with a strong full page splash from the enemy's perspective. This story was later reprinted in Our Army at War #190. Other artists in this golden age comic include Russ Heath. This is 12 of 46 All American Men of War issues by Kubert.
