Tarzan v1 #238, 1975 - Joe Kubert provides the cover to this giant special issue, but the interiors reprint a Tarzan comic strip that appeared in newspapers during the 1960s. The editors did an acceptable job re-composing the panels into the comic book format. Most impressive is Russ Manning's artwork, with its excellent precision and draftsmanship. Note that two other issues within this series contain Manning newspaper reprints. This is 32 of 43 Tarzan issues by Kubert.
