Teen-age Romances v1 #21, 1952 - Five Matt Baker stories reside in this issue, although "I Learned My Lesson...the Hard Way" was first published from Pictorial Confessions #1 (originally titled "I Talked Myself into Love Troubles"). Of the new material, the tale of a small town girl's long distance relationship ("Small-Town Bombshell") benefits from decorative flourishes added throughout the pages. Baker's remaining stories are slightly less impressive but hold their own, especially "Trial Romance" (featuring a struggling violinist) and "Pitfalls of Jealousy" (girl falls for a poet). The latter was reprinted in Going Steady #14. This is 21 of 42 Teen-age Romances issues by Baker.
