Tarzan v1 #153, 1965 - On reports that witches in the form of lions are decimating their cattle, Dan-El and his Brother of the Spear investigate for themselves. Russ Manning's drawings have matured over the years, showing a mastery of linework and page layout. Though only four pages, he delivers an impressive work for a back-up tale. This story was later reprinted in Golden Comic Digest #9. Other artists in this issue include Jesse Marsh. This is 115 of 132 Tarzan issues by Manning.
