Brenda Starr Comics #3 |
Brenda Starr Comics v1 #3, 1948 - A famous Italian violinist gets mixed up with a smuggling ring, which doesn't end well for him. This short Matt Baker tale backs up three Brenda Starr features. One source fails to give attribution to the artist, but his hand is evident. The way the pages are constructed and the quality of figure drawing are his hallmarks. Most convincing are his renditions of the female supporting character, drawn in the "good girl" art style he promoted. Other artists in this issue include Dale Messick. This is 1 of 1
