Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #125
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #125, 1951 - To earn a medal in the Junior Woodchucks, Huey, Louie and Dewey must train their spoiled hound to perform a lifesaving task. Carl Barks focuses on Bornworthy, a St. Bernard, for the bulk of the funniest scenes. The dog's fear or snow and the outdoors rescues the story from being too monotonous and predictable. Other artists in this golden age comic include Paul Murry on Mickey Mouse. This story was later reprinted in Huey Louie and Dewey Junior Woodchucks #5. This is 85 of 280 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks
