Tarzan v1 #84, 1956 - Receiving a message from his brother Natongo, king Dan-El gathers his army to rescue him from imprisonment. The opening panels are heavy with text, but improves with each subsequent page. The spaciousness once again subsides toward the end. Russ Manning's best panel occurs midway through the story: a depiction of an opulent royal palace setting.
