1961 - Venturing into new territories, the Brothers of the Spear are suddenly drafted into the army of a neighboring African king. Although better at page design and sequencing,
Russ Manning continues to develop his rendering skills. The high point occurs later in the story, when a massive flash flood nearly drowns our two heroes (see interior page below). This story was later reprinted in
