Tarzan v1 #122,
1961 - Their homeland now lost, Natongo and his people are given new land by Dan-El, his Brother of the Spear. The page layouts and sequencing are smartly designed, particularly the heroes' run-in with a rogue water buffalo (see interior page below). On the other hand,
Russ Manning's drawings lacks the detail and polish of later works. This story was later reprinted in
Tarzan #199. Other artists in this silver age comic include Jesse Marsh (on Tarzan). Painted cover by George Wilson.
