Tarzan v1 #106, 1958 - An invading tribe retreats from Aba-Zulu, scared away by portentous signs and superstition. Dan-El's victory celebration, however, is marred by news of Queen Zulena's disappearance. One of Russ Manning's better issues, a variety of drawing techniques show extra effort on his part. There are several splendid panels, including the larger-than-usual opening scene. Other artists in this issue include Jesse Marsh (on the lead Tarzan feature). Photo cover.
