Savage Sword of Conan #90 - non-attributed Nestor Redondo art, mis-attributed Redondo cover

Savage Sword of Conan #90
Savage Sword of Conan v1 #90, 1983 - Hired as a mercenary, Conan participates in a castle siege led by King Savarro. A black armored demon warrior, however, stands in their way. Not attributed in comic book guides, Nestor Redondo inks the entire main feature. John Buscema's pencils are tempered with painstaking detail and texture. Redondo does a phenomenal job retaining the excitement of the original drawings while adding his own sophisticated touch. Some pages are more precise than others, but his overall craftsmanship is impressive. Redondo's story art is not attributed in comic book price guides and the cover is mis-attributed to him. Other artists in this copper age magazine include Ernie Chan, Dave Wenzel and Dave Simons. Cover by Earl Norem. This is 10 of 10 Savage Sword of Conan issues by Redondo. /// Redondo gallery
