"My Blind Date Wanted Thrills" opens with a nighttime beach scene, carefully composed and comprised of naturalistic figure drawings. Baker's cover is close up and intimate, departing from his usual approach of a more complete setting. Other artists in this golden age comic include Carmine Infantino.
