Robin Hood Tales #2 - Matt Baker art, mis-attributed Baker cover

Robin Hood Tales v1 #2, 1956 - I have to disagree with Overstreet comic book price guide that attributes the cover to Matt Baker. Stylistically, it doesn't match his works from the same period nor his interior story. Baker begins drawing the series' back-up tales, featuring King Richard the Lion-Hearted during the Crusades. Aside from a unintentionally, but painfully distorted face (see interior page below), the artwork in general has clarity and purpose. This is number 1 of 5 Robin Hood Tales issues with Baker art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Baker or Robin Hood Tales issues. See also this blog's Baker checklist.
