House of Mystery v1 #226, 1974 - A Victorian couple dotes on their handsome son, while his freakish twin is locked away in the basement. Lovingly drawn and composed, Nestor Redondo's artwork shows his skill at depicting past historical periods. Architecture, clothing and interiors all seem very convincing. Many single panels are superb, including the mother's deceptive kiss on page 7 panel 6. Included in this 100 pager is a Bernie Wrightson reprint from House of Mystery #180. The cover partially borrows an Alex Toth page from House of Mystery #182. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Pat Broderick, Jess Jodloman, Alfredo Alcala, Frank Robbins and Sergio Aragones. Cover by Luis Domingez.
