Our Army At War v1 #186 featuring Sgt. Rock, 1967 - A reckless solider takes on all risks in the hope of earning a medal. Neal Adams delivers a splendid back-up tale, his third of the series. With the exception of some odd foreshortening on page 4 panel 1, the artist does a largely credible job with both the layouts and drawings. Adams' talent for rendering character faces and expressions is evident here (see interior page below). Joe Kubert turns in an impactful cover to accompany the lead feature. Inside, a Kubert reprint fom Our Army At War #90 rounds out the book. Other artists in this silver age comic include Russ Heath.
