Tarzan v1 #237, 1975 - Just like the previous two issues, this edition reprints Russ Manning newspaper strips from the 1960s. Set in Egypt and centered around a "Stone Sphinx", the panels are re-positioned to fit the regular comic book format. Despite these changes, Manning's drawings are still retain their strong aesthetic. Joe Kubert supplies not only a viseral new cover, but the title splash page shown below. This is 31 of 43 Tarzan issues by Kubert.
