Our Army at War #107 - Joe Kubert art & cover

Joe Kubert
Our Army at War v1 #107, 1961Joe Kubert replicates the opening splash from the cover, but his interiors are far superior. "Doom Over Easy" introduces Everett, a young soldier who thinks he can predict the future. The story's theme of unexplained war phenomena is more interesting than usual. Kubert continues his gritty portrayal of the violence and emotional toll of war. This golden age story was later reprinted in Our Army at War #216. Other artists in this silver age comic include Jerry Grandenetti. This is 47 of 236 Our Army at War issues by Kubert.
