Weird Mystery Tales v1 #21, 1975 - An old man pursues Captain Kidd's hidden riches, killing anyone who gets in his way. This tale of treasure hunting and betrayal is ably drawn by Alex Nino. His layouts are more straightforward than previous issues, but not to the detriment of the work overall. Bernie Wrightson's cover depicts a woodsman's confrontation with a pack of werewolves. Note the small, short brushstrokes that define their fur, making them stand out against the clean edges of the background. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Richard Villamonte and E.R.
