Joe Kubert |
Our Army at War v1 #153, 1965 -
Joe Kubert illustrates two tales of the brutality of war. In the first, Sgt. Rock is spooked by a fellow sergeant whose entire company is wiped out. The second story features Enemy Ace facing a superstition about pilots and photographs. Both display a confident drawing ability with a penchant for action. Whether drawing dueling airplanes or combat infantry, Kubert shows himself adept at both. "Flaming Bait" was later reprinted in
Star Spangled War Stories #151 and
Enemy Ace Special #1. Other artists in this silver age comic include Henry Boltinoff. This is 90 of 236
