Frontier Fighters #4 |
Frontier Fighters v1 #4, 1956 - Leading a stage coach and its crew through indian territory, Buffalo Bill relies on cleverness and creativity to outwit the pursuers. As usual,
Joe Kubert's art outperforms the rest of the book. His layouts are fairly standard, but his excellent draftsmanship more than make up for it. Kubert's opening panel of an oncoming mass of warriors is the highlight of the issue. This story was later reprinted in
All-Star Western v2 #9. Other artists in this golden age comic include John Prentice. This is 4 of 8
Frontier Fighters issues by
Kubert.

Davy Crockett looks quite villainous on the cover. What does he intend to do to that Indian?
Rape him, obviously.
