Our Army at War #87 |
Our Army at War v1 #87, 1959 - Ordered by Sgt. Rock, four soldiers of Easy Company are tasked with clearing and holding the infamous "No-Return Hill". Joe Kubert tells the rest of the tale in the aftermath, separating past events with unframed panels. The layout and sequencing are exceptional, while depicting the determination and intensity of the main characters. This story was later reprinted in DC Special Blue Ribbon Digest #18. Other artists in this golden age comic include Russ Heath and Mort Drucker. This is 28 of 236 Our Army at War issues by Kubert.
