DC Special Blue Ribbon Digest v1 #18 / Sgt. Rock, 1982 - The popularity of this DC war character never seems to fade. Joe Kubert's ghostly cover is a tad convoluted. A nice idea but poorly executed. This issue brings together Sgt. Rock tales from the 60s and 70s. The stories come from (respectively) Showcase #45, Our Army at War #87, #120, #179, #233 and #238. In addition, Kubert's unused covers for Battle Classics #2 and #3 are printed here for the first time. This issue also includes artwork by Sam Glanzman.
