Tarzan v1 #44, 1953 - Sneaking into the enemy village, the Brothers of the Spear gain useful information ahead of their impending attack. Russ Manning varies his drawings within very similar layouts. Some of the figure drawing seem a tad clumsy as well. Still early in his career, Manning shows more potential than skill. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jesse Marsh. Photo cover.
