Frank Miller |
Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-man v2 #48, 1980 - On
Frank Miller's cover,
Spider-man lies still while a presumed gunman looks on in disbelief. The entrance wound on the hero's chest is exaggerated for greater visibility but seems distracting. In general, the cover's "crime novel" feel works fine within a carefully constructed layout. Other artists in this copper age comic include Marie Severin and Bruce Patterson. This is 4 of 12
