Thor v1 #179, 1970 - Loki devises a plan to exchange his appearance with that of Thor, allowing him to run amok on Earth. Stylistically, Jack Kirby's art is more consistent with earlier issues, suggesting that this story was completed earlier than the publication date. Other pages (page 6,14-20) look suspiciously current, perhaps last minute additions (with inks other than Vince Colletta?). Regardless, the artwork falls far short of expectations. Neal Adams draws his only cover for the series, an adequate precursor to the next two issues he would illustrate. This is 1 of 3 Thor issues by Adams and 54 of 61 Thor issues by Kirby.
