Korak Son of Tarzan #6 |
Korak Son of Tarzan v1 #6, 1964 - A lightning strike must decide between two tribal leaders, one peaceful and the other intent on war.
Russ Manning's pencils are barely recognizable, due to assistant Mike Royer's heavy-handed inking. The artist fares better on his second tale, where Korak befriends a ship captain and a friendly dolphin. Some details are lacking, especially faces and figures. The delineations of each panel seem harshly applied with little sensitivity. Still, Manning's hand is much more evident here. This is 6 of 12
