Vampirella Annual v1 #1, 1972 - The only annual in the series, this first issue contains a brand new origin for Vampirella. Written by J. R. Cochran, the artwork by Jose Gonzalez is appropriately creepy and alien at the same time. The rest of the book is comprised of reprints, including work by Neal Adams (Vampirella #1), Wally Wood (Vampirella #9) and Jeff Jones (Vampirella #9). This issue also includes artwork by Tom Sutton, Jerry Grandenetti, Jack Sparling and David Sinclair. All interiors in black and white. - - - - - - - - - -
