Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge v1 #29, 1960 - Uncle Scrooge is determined to find a remote location to hide his money. He soon chooses the asteroid belt in our own galaxy, to the chagrin of Donald and his nephews. The spaceship designs and textured asteroids showcase Carl Barks' creativity. Just like most Uncle Scrooge issues, the lead feature is lengthier and more robust. "Island in the Sky" was later reprinted in Walt Disney Comics Digest #2 and Uncle Scrooge #143, while "Hound of the Whiskervilles" was reprinted in Uncle Scrooge #165. All three tales are well drawn, but Gyro Gearloose's "Oodles of Oomph" (reprinted in Walt Disney Comics Digest #36) is a bit more minimal. This is 29 of 70 Uncle Scrooge issues by Barks.
