Marvel Premiere #9 / Doctor Strange - Frank Brunner art & cover

Frank Brunner
Marvel Premiere v1 #9 featuring Doctor Strange, 1973 - Trapped on a barren planet, the Sorcerer Supreme must somehow find his way back to Earth. Frank Brunner, in his second pencilling task, does a merely adequate job within widely varied layouts. Making matters worse, Ernie Chua's inks are inconsistent and overwhelming. Brunner's cover, by contrast, displays a polish and sensitivity absent in the feature story. This is number 3 of 8 Marvel Premiere issues with Brunner art and/or covers.
