Marvel Premiere #12 / Doctor Strange - Frank Brunner / Neal Adams art, Brunner cover

Frank Brunner
Marvel Premiere v1 #12 featuring Doctor Strange, 1973 - Searching for Baron Mordo, Doctor Strange travels to Europe and encounters a community of Transylvanian gypsies. Frank Brunner continues to hone his skills within the constraints of smaller and more abundant panels. The "Crusty Bunkers" are once again tasked with the inks, but Neal Adams' hand is much less evident than before. Stylistically, there seems to be greater contributions by Dick Giordano, Dan Green and perhaps Brunner himself. Regardless, the story is no less appealing. Brunner also delivers his finest cover on the series to date. This is number 2 of 4 Marvel Premiere issues with Adams art and/or covers and number 6 of 8 Marvel Premiere issues with Brunner art and/or covers.
