Police Comics v1 #1, 1941 - Quality Comics introduces their own cadre of superheroes in this packed first issue. "Eel" O Brien, a thief, is accidentally soaked with chemicals during a heist, Roy Lincoln swallows his father's secret formula to keep it out of the hands of spies and socialite Sandra Knight chooses to fight crime with the aid of her blackout lantern. In separate stories, Plastic Man, Phantom Lady and the Human Bomb all make their first appearances, created by Jack Cole, Arthur Peddy and Paul Carroll respectively.
