Gorgo v1 #11, 1963 - Steve Ditko continues his terrific run on this series, as the massive Gorgo becomes the focus of a Hollywood filmmaker. The art is splendid, bordering on comic, especially in the rendition of the title character. Ditko's roomier panels (see interior page below) attract more attention, but his work overall is admirable and sincere. One minor annoyance is the re-use of two interior scenes for the cover. This is number 5 of 9 Gorgo issues with Ditko art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Ditko or Gorgo issues.See also this blog's Ditko checklist.

New format tweaks continue, hopefully improving the site. All posts now have large scans of both covers and interior pages. All scans are now captioned, credited to the featured artist on this blog. Any feedback is appreciated.
