Gorgo #11 - Steve Ditko art & cover

Gorgo #11, 1963 - Steve Ditko continues his terrific run of this series, as the gargantuan Gorgo becomes the focus of a Hollywood filmmaker. The art is splendid, bordering on comic, especially in the rendition of the title character. Ditko's roomier panels (see interior page above) attract more attention, but his work overall is admirable and sincere.
