Satan's Tears, the Art of Alex Nino book, 1977 - Limited to 1000 signed copies, this hardcover book is an outstanding collection of
Alex Nino's work to date. Most are in black and white, with a special section of full color illustrations. No works feature any Marvel or DC characters, but a Tarzan-like character appears on several pages. There's also a selection of pages he drew for comics published in the Philippines, years prior to his US work. A variety of styles is captured over the years, including many of his experimentations. At around 150 pages, this stunning book reveals a master comic book illustrator at his peak.
