Captain America v1 #290, 1984 - Both Arnold Roth and Jack Monroe are plagued by nightmares, coinciding with the appearance of a mysterious woman in black. Mother Superior hasn't yet made her presence known to Cap or his friends, instead choosing to recruit one of his greatest foes: Baron Zemo. John Byrne's graphically oriented cover sets an ominous tone, suggesting this new character's influence over the heroes. This J. M. DeMatteis story was drawn by Ron Frenz and Steve Leialoha.
