Korak Son of Tarzan v1 #5, 1964 - Strange little men force Korak and Pahkut to carry them to their remote village, where they worship a large carnivorous tree. The story's folkloric quality gives Russ Manning the chance to draw some unusual scenes and characters. His rendition of the man-eating tree is fascinatingly eerie, almost otherworldly (see interior page below).
