5. Rima the Jungle Girl v1 #3, 1974 - Revealed for the first time, Rima's origin is told in a series of flashback sequences. Nestor Redondo draws this third issue with great skill and confidence. The double page spread of marauding soldiers (pages 2-3) and a young woman's sudden appearance (page 5) are just some of the highlights. Alex Nino illustrates a sci-fi short story that opens with several wonderfully textured pages that are among his best of the series. Joe Kubert delivers his third impressive cover in a row. This is 3 of 7 Rima issues by Kubert, 3 of 5 Rima issues by Nino and 3 of 6 Rima issues by Redondo. /// Top 10 Redondo comics / Redondo gallery
