Blitzkrieg v1 #1, 1976 - In a bold move, DC begins a brand new type of war title. Set during during World War II, the stories are told from the German soldiers' point of view. Joe Kubert's cover for this first issue aims to distinguish between those that are duty-bound and those with wrestle with the morality of their cause. This is a recurring theme throughout the series. Other artists in this issue include Ric Estrada.
