(Luke Cage) Power Man v1 #41, 1977 - Accompanying a gold shipment to Washington DC, Luke expects an easy ride in an unobtrusive van. A bomb explodes inside, just as the speedy Thunderbolt arrives. Unaware he's an ally, Power Man engages in battle. Meanwhile, Gold Bug transports the ingots into his hovering craft. Despite the cover and story title, the two new characters are on opposite sides of the law. This Marv Wolfman story was drawn by Lee Elias and Tom Palmer. Cover by Ernie Chan.- - - - - - - - - -
