Tarzan v1 #72, 1955 - Emerging from an underground cavern, Tavane and the Brothers of the Spear embark on an unfamiliar route around the mountains. Varied layouts and a few open bordered panels make this Russ Manning tale more interesting. His landscapes, including flora and fauna, somewhat make up for the stiff figure drawing. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jesse Marsh.
