Heroic Comics #36 - Alex Toth art

Heroic Comics #36
Heroic Comics v1 #36, 1946 Alex Toth chronicles Abraham Lincoln's frontier exploits as a young man. His drawings are painfully primitive, struggling with both figures and faces. The layouts, though varied, add little to the storytelling he would master later on. Overall, Toth's hand is almost indistinguishable from many artists of the same era. Other artists in this issue include H.C. Kiefer, Harvey Fuller and Charles W. Winter. This is 4 of 13 Heroic Comics issues by Toth.
