First Love Illustrated v1 #87, 1958 - Kitty and Danny's dance act folds when a newspaper critic savages them in the press. Matt Baker lovingly portrays the characters on the title page, but falters on the rest of the story. While Vince Colletta's inks are mediocre, the layouts are just as uninspiring. By comparison, Baker's contents page (which he inked himself) is more fluid and polished. Other artists in this issue include Joe Orlando. This is 2 of 5 First Love Illustrated issues by Baker.
