Sin City: Silent Night #nn - Frank Miller art & cover

Frank Miller
Sin City: Silent Night v1 #nn (no number), 1995 - Entering the bowels of a well guarded fortress, Marv finds himself surrounded by purveyors of kidnapping and forced prostitution. No text appears on the cover and no narration or dialogue appears throughout the entire story (except for one word balloon). This one-shot comic appeals only to the die-hard Sin City fans familiar with both the main character and the "look" of the series. Indeed, the comic title appears only appears in the end. Except for a single page, the bulk of the story is told through full page splashes. While not the first artist to use this technique, Frank Miller's bold, textural imagery makes Silent Night among the most impactful. This is 1 of 1 Sin City: Silent Night issues by Miller.
