Matt Baker squeezes his drawings into a finite number of panels. Add to that the generous dialogue, and his artwork becomes overwhelmed by the text. Oddly enough, this is among his shortest romance stories from the era. Baker's cover is far better, contrasting the woman's more fluid pose against the soldier's rigid stance.
