Batman v1 #225, 1970 - Framed for murder, the Batman works to clear his name. Unusual for its extreme worm's eye view, this Neal Adams cover is no less appealing. Though the hero is diminished in size, his portrait on the wanted poster partially makes up for it. The rain-soaked scene is strangely quiet, yet dramatic at the same time. The yellow boxed text seems superfluous to the layout, yet somehow adds balance. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Irv Novick and Dick Giordano. This is 10 of 30 Batman issues by Adams.
