Brave and the Bold v1 #7, 1956 - When his princess love is kidnapped by giant trained eagles, the Viking Price tracks her to his enemy Thorvald's remote castle. Somehow, the story enables the character to concoct water skis from the staves of his boat. That aside, Joe Kubert takes great effort with his depictions. Gunnda's sudden capture is an artistic high point of the issue (see interior page below). This story was later reprinted in Best of Brave and the Bold #2.
