Our Fighting Forces v1 #11, 1956 - Traveling to France, a former GI recalls his memories from the D-Day invasion and relives key moments. One of Joe Kubert's earliest works on this title, a couple of panels may have been altered by Irv Novick (page 1 panel 4). Overall, the story is just adequately drawn. Kubert's additional details add a richness to this otherwise straightforward tale. This golden age war story was later reprinted in Our Army at War #216. Other artists in this issue include Arthur Peddy, Irwin Hasen and George Papp. Cover by Jerry Grandenetti.
