Matt Baker's drawings is supple and inviting. His draftsmanship conveys a softness and femininity, perfectly suited to the romance genre. A repetitive six-panel grid is usually a challenge, but Baker's panel designs maintain visual interest. Most breathtaking is his large opening panel, juxtaposing the lonely Pam against the social activity occurring behind her. This Baker art is not attributed in some comic guides.
