World's Finest Comics v1 #268, 1981 - Consumed by frequent nightmares, Captain Marvel Jr. recalls his origin story and its possible connection. Unfortunately, Don Newton's lack of effort clearly shows in tale. Steve Mitchell's inks help in the first few pages, but seem to falter toward the story's end. This is Newton's weakest Shazam effort thus far on the series. This story was later reprinted in Shazam! The World's Mightiest Mortal #3. Other artists in this copper age comic include Trevor Von Eeden and Romeo Tanghal.
