Iron Man v1 #197, 1985 - The hero moves forward toward an unseen foe, his transistors at full power. The light from the white-hot rays obscures his hands while illuminating his armor. Though minimal, John Byrne's cover has an unspoken elegance and grace. The limited color palette also puts emphasis the lone figure. Other artists in this copper age comic include Rich Buckler, Brian Garvey and Ian Akin. This is 3 of 4 Iron Man issues by Byrne.
